Notice is hereby given that the Board of Winfree Academy Charter Schools will conduct a regular meeting on April 9, 2024 at 5:00 PM at 1840 Hutton Drive Suite 130, Carrollton, Texas 75006. 

This meeting may be conducted via teleconference with either a presiding officer present or a quorum physically present as permitted by the Texas Open Meetings Act. A quorum of members of the Board will participate in the meeting and will be audible to the public.

Members of the public may submit comments on any agenda item(s) of the Regular Meeting to Public@wacsd.com before consideration of the item(s). Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the School Safety and Security Committee of Winfree Academy Charter Schools will be held on March 28, 2024 @ 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at 1840 Hutton Dr. Suite 130, Carrollton, TX 75006.


It is the intent of the Committee to have a quorum physically present at the above address. If a quorum of the Committee cannot be physically present at the above address, it is the intent to have the presiding officer physically present at the above address.  Committee members not physically present may participate by live two-way video and audio feed in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act. 


Members of the public may submit comments on any agenda items(s) of the SSSC meeting by 12:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting.


Items will not necessarily be discussed or considered in the order they are printed on the agenda below. If, during the course of the meeting, discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in an executive or closed session, the School Safety and Security Committee will convene in such executive or closed session as permitted by and in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.

A regular board meeting of the Winfree Academy Charter Schools Board of Directors will take place Friday, January 27th at 9:30am

Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors of Winfree Academy Charter Schools will be held on January 27, 2023 beginning at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will be held at 1840 Hutton Dr. Suite 130, Carrollton, TX 75006.

The presiding officer of the Board will participate in the meeting in person at the above-listed location. Some members of the Board may participate via video conference and will be audible to the public as permitted under Texas Government Code § 551.127. In which case, an audio recording of the meeting shall be made.

Classes Resume Wednesday, January 4th

Our Winter Break has come to an end and school resumes tomorrow, Wednesday, January 4 at our regularly scheduled times.  We look forward to seeing your learner on-time, in-class, and ready to learn!

Winfree Academy Charter Schools will be closed Monday, December 19th through Tuesday, January 3rd for Winter Break.  Classes will resume at their normal operating times on Wednesday, January 4th.  From our family to yours, have a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year!
