Ms. Bertolino is starting her second year with Winfree and her 16th year in education. She has a varied background with an Associates degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis on Sign Language Interpreting, a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with an option in Chemical Dependency and a Master's of Business Administration. As a teacher, she taught Math and was a Special Education Case Manager. She has 4 children from 18-29 years old and enjoys spending time with them, reading and going home to Colorado to visit extended family. 

Rita Pierson said, "Every child needs a champion. An adult who will never give up on them". I'm grateful to have found a school and community who live by this philosophy, and I can't wait to see all the amazing things our students contribute to the world.
