School of General Studies
The School of General Studies prepares students for higher education and/or the world of work. It highlights cross curricular connections, career exploration, and helps to enhance a variety of skills e.g. leadership, research, communication, team working. This school offers minimum to recommendation credit plans for any student who needs a fast track or individualized instruction. Sessions are offered morning, afternoon, and evening to accommodate numerous student schedules working towards meeting graduation requirements. All academic learning is offered through a blended online instructional environment which meets the needs of diverse students. Other educational opportunities within this school include the use of computer based programs, online learning, project based learning, small group instruction, service learning, work-based learning, and even career prep.
